Dr. Doxy 200 contains Doxycycline Hyclate IP equivalent to Doxycycline 200 mg per scored tablet, for the treatment of susceptible bacterial infections in dogs and cats. This tetracycline antibiotic is used against anaplasma (a tick-borne disease), as adjunctive therapy in heartworm-positive dogs, and for periodontal (teeth and gum) disease, with a scored tablet design for dosing flexibility as directed by your veterinarian.
Key Benefits
- High-Strength Formula: 200mg scored tablets suited to larger animals or infections requiring a higher dose, as determined by your vet
- Precise Dosing: Scored design allows tablets to be divided for weight-based dosing under veterinary guidance
- Broad-Spectrum Coverage: Effective against Borrelia, Leptospira, Rickettsiae, Chlamydia, Mycoplasma, Bartonella, and Bordetella
- Pharmaceutical-Grade Formulation: Manufactured for consistent potency
What It May Be Prescribed For
