Endro Pet 50 contains Enrofloxacin IP 50 mg per uncoated tablet — a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antimicrobial for oral use in dogs, cats, and all animals. It is indicated to help manage bacterial and mycoplasmal infections including urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, respiratory infections, and gastrointestinal infections.
Composition
- Each uncoated tablet contains: Enrofloxacin IP — 50 mg

How It Works
Enrofloxacin belongs to the fluoroquinolone class of antibiotics. It acts by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and interfering with bacterial DNA synthesis, making it effective against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria as well as Mycoplasma species.
Dosage
- Dogs: 1 tablet per 10 kg body weight (@ 5 mg Enrofloxacin per kg body weight), given orally once daily for 3 to 5 days, with or without food, or as directed by a Veterinary Practitioner
- For cats and other animals: as directed by a Registered Veterinary Practitioner
Administration Tips
- May be given with or without food
- Flavoured palatable tablet — most pets accept readily
- Complete the full prescribed course even if symptoms improve early
- Do not crush or split tablets without veterinary guidance
- Consult your veterinarian before use alongside other medications
Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity or allergy to enrofloxacin or other fluoroquinolones
- Young, growing dogs — fluoroquinolones may affect cartilage development in immature animals
- Animals with a history of seizures or neurological disorders
- Cats at high doses — enrofloxacin has been associated with retinal toxicity and blindness in cats at elevated doses; use only under strict veterinary supervision
- Concurrent use with antacids containing magnesium or aluminium — may reduce absorption
Common Side Effects
- Vomiting or nausea — most common, particularly on an empty stomach
- Diarrhoea or loss of appetite
- Lethargy or dizziness
- Vision changes in cats — monitor closely; discontinue immediately if observed and contact your veterinarian as an emergency
