Alembic Enrofloxacin 10% w/v Veterinary Enrox Injection – Schedule H Prescription Antibiotic
Alembic Enrox Injection is a veterinary prescription antibiotic containing Enrofloxacin I.P. (VET) 10% w/v, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone used to treat bacterial infections susceptible to enrofloxacin. To be used only under veterinary supervision.
Composition (per ml)
- Enrofloxacin I.P. (VET): 100 mg
- Benzyl Alcohol I.P.: 1.5% w/v (as preservative)
- Water for Injection I.P.: Q.S.
Dosage: As advised by the Veterinarian. This product's dosage is not printed on the pack with species-specific mg/kg figures — administer strictly as directed by the prescribing veterinarian.
General Fluoroquinolone Safety Information
- Use with caution in growing/young animals, as fluoroquinolones are associated with a risk of cartilage damage during rapid growth phases.
- Use with caution in cats, as fluoroquinolones may carry a risk of retinal toxicity, particularly at higher doses.
- Use with caution in animals with a history of seizure disorders.
- Use in pregnant or lactating animals only if directed by the veterinarian.
- Hypersensitivity to enrofloxacin or other fluoroquinolones is a contraindication.

- Vomiting or diarrhoea
- Loss of appetite
- Lethargy
- Injection site irritation
- Seek veterinary care promptly if symptoms worsen or unusual reactions occur.

- Maximum ten withdrawals
- Milk: 84 hours
- Meat: 14 days
