Moxicip D is a combination ophthalmic (eye) medication manufactured by Cipla. It contains Moxifloxacin (antibiotic) and Dexamethasone (corticosteroid). This is a prescription medication primarily formulated for human use, though it may be prescribed off-label by veterinary ophthalmologists for pets.

Purpose: Treats bacterial eye infections with inflammation. The antibiotic component fights infection while the steroid reduces swelling, redness, and discomfort in the eyes.

Key Components:

• Moxifloxacin: Broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic that kills bacteria

• Dexamethasone: Corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and swelling

• Bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye)

• Eye infections with inflammation

• Post-operative eye care
